Pause for a quick Pit Stop with the Akron Racers
Welcome to Pit Stop, a special feature where we slow things down in the offices of the Akron Racers and give you a chance to learn more about the people off the field and behind the scenes in the Akron Racers organization.
Meet Kathy Hale, Director of Operations for the Akron Racers. You may not know this, but if you’ve eaten a burger at Firestone Stadium, you have tasted one of the best ballpark burgers out there, courtesy of Kathy Hale’s secret style of grilling. Kathy began with the Racers in 2004 as a part-time food and beverage employee and worked her way up to additional responsibilities with the Racers. Since 2007, Kathy has been the Director of Operations, wearing the many hats of accounting, purchasing, scheduling, staffing and many more.
