Kathy Hale graduated from the University of Akron in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development. Except for a few jobs along the way, Kathy was a proud “stay-at-home” mom serving on numerous school and church committees on behalf of her three children.

In the summer of 2004 she came to the Racers to work in the concession stand part-time. It was during this brief period, GM Joey Arrietta noticed that perhaps her past experiences could transfer to additional responsibilities with the Racers. In 2005, Hale took over as the Concession Manager. She quickly became the Director of
Operations that included accounting, purchasing, scheduling and staffing responsibilities. Her command of all of these areas has allowed the Racers organization to develop a solid business model.

Kathy and husband Jack have three children, Mike, 22, Cory, 21, and Jessica, 15.
